Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SecureServe Academy’s website, online learning environment, learner accounts, courses, learning programs, assessments, digital materials, certificates, checkout services, community features, and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, enrolling in or purchasing a course or program, accessing learning materials, using the SecureServe Academy website, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to any additional terms, policies, disclosures, or requirements presented in connection with a particular course, product, purchase, or feature.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase, enroll in, access, or use the Services.

1. About SecureServe Academy

SecureServe Academy is an independent online education and professional development provider offering career-focused and practical training.

Unless expressly stated for a specific program, SecureServe Academy is not a college or university, government agency, licensing authority, professional board, or independent governmental certifying body.

2. Eligibility to Use the Services

You may use the Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.

SecureServe Academy’s Services are designed primarily for adults seeking professional, career-focused, or business-related education and are not directed to children under 13.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company, employer, agency, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to any applicable terms governing such use.

3. Learner Accounts

Certain Services require a learner account. When creating or maintaining an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information;
  • Keep account information reasonably up to date;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password and login credentials;
  • Use your own account rather than another person’s account;
  • Not share login credentials with unauthorized persons;
  • Notify SecureServe Academy promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access; and
  • Accept responsibility for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to secure your devices, passwords, email account, and learner credentials.

SecureServe Academy may require password resets, identity verification, email verification, or other security measures when reasonably necessary to protect learners, accounts, transactions, or the Services.

5. Course Enrollment

Enrollment in a SecureServe Academy course or learning program is subject to availability, applicable pricing, access terms, technical requirements, eligibility criteria, and any course-specific conditions disclosed before or during enrollment.

Completing checkout does not entitle a learner to services or benefits beyond those expressly included in the purchased course, program, bundle, subscription, or other enrollment option.

6. Course Descriptions

SecureServe Academy seeks to describe courses accurately. Course descriptions may include information concerning subject matter, curriculum, format, learning objectives, access periods, assessments, resources, completion requirements, and certificate availability.

Minor differences in presentation, sequencing, examples, media, or instructional materials may occur as courses are improved or updated.

7. Prices

Course and program prices are displayed in connection with the applicable product or checkout process. SecureServe Academy may change prices prospectively at any time.

A price change does not ordinarily alter a completed prior purchase unless required by law, a pricing error exists, or the transaction is otherwise subject to an applicable contractual adjustment.

8. Pricing Errors

If a course or product is displayed with an obvious pricing, technical, or system error, SecureServe Academy may correct the error and, where appropriate, cancel or refund an affected transaction consistent with applicable law.

9. Promotions and Coupons

Promotional codes, coupons, scholarships, discounts, and special offers may be subject to separate conditions, expiration dates, eligibility criteria, product restrictions, usage limits, or other requirements.

Unless expressly permitted, promotional offers may not be combined, transferred, exchanged for cash, or applied retroactively to completed purchases.

10. Taxes and Other Charges

Applicable taxes or legally required charges may be added to a transaction depending on the purchaser’s location, product, payment method, or applicable law.

11. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers connected to SecureServe Academy or LearnWorlds.

You authorize the applicable payment provider to process the charges associated with your purchase and represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.

Payment-provider services may be subject to separate provider terms and privacy policies.

12. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the refund policy, purchase terms, and course-specific conditions applicable to the transaction.

Learners are responsible for reviewing applicable refund terms before completing enrollment.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact SecureServe Academy so the matter can be reviewed.

Fraudulent, abusive, or knowingly false chargebacks may result in suspension of account access, cancellation of course access, collection activity permitted by law, or other appropriate action.

This section does not limit a consumer’s lawful right to dispute unauthorized or improper charges.

14. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

SecureServe Academy generally offers individual course enrollment. If a subscription, installment plan, membership, or recurring-payment product is offered, the applicable recurring terms, billing frequency, renewal terms, price, cancellation method, and other material conditions will be disclosed before purchase.

Recurring charges will be administered in accordance with applicable law and the terms disclosed for the specific product.

15. Automatic Renewals

If SecureServe Academy offers an automatically renewing product, any required consent, renewal notice, cancellation mechanism, and disclosure will be provided in accordance with applicable law.

16. Course Access Periods

Course access may be limited to a stated period or may remain available for another period specified in the applicable course description or purchase terms.

“Lifetime,” “unlimited,” or similar access terminology will apply only when expressly stated and will be subject to the specific terms disclosed for that product and the continued operation and availability of the applicable Service.

17. Course Changes and Updates

SecureServe Academy may update courses to improve accuracy, instructional quality, technology compatibility, regulatory relevance, learning outcomes, or user experience.

Updates may include adding, replacing, reorganizing, or removing lessons, examples, assessments, media, downloadable materials, links, or other components.

18. Course Availability

SecureServe Academy may discontinue future enrollment in a course or program or replace an outdated course with an updated version.

Existing learner access following discontinuation will be handled according to applicable purchase terms, operational feasibility, and law.

19. Assessments

Courses may contain quizzes, exams, knowledge checks, assignments, projects, or other assessments.

Learners are responsible for completing assessments honestly and according to applicable instructions.

20. Academic Integrity

Prohibited academic conduct may include:

  • Submitting another person’s work as your own;
  • Having another person complete required assessments for you;
  • Sharing answers to protected assessments;
  • Circumventing assessment controls;
  • Using unauthorized resources where prohibited;
  • Falsifying identity, completion, or assessment information; or
  • Engaging in other conduct that undermines the integrity of course completion.

21. Certificates of Completion

Certain SecureServe Academy courses may provide a certificate of completion when a learner satisfies the applicable course requirements.

Certificate requirements may include lesson completion, assessments, passing scores, assignments, or other criteria identified for the applicable course.

22. Credential Disclaimer

Unless expressly stated for a specific program, a SecureServe Academy certificate documents completion of applicable academy course requirements only. It does not itself constitute state licensure, government certification, professional board certification, college credit, accreditation, or legal authorization to perform regulated work.

23. Licensing and Regulatory Requirements

Occupational licensing, registration, education, background screening, insurance, bonding, examinations, experience, continuing education, and other requirements vary by state, jurisdiction, profession, employer, and activity.

Learners are responsible for determining which laws and requirements apply to their intended activities before providing regulated services or representing themselves as licensed, certified, registered, bonded, insured, or otherwise professionally authorized.

24. No Guarantee of Licensure or Eligibility

Enrollment in or completion of a SecureServe Academy course does not guarantee eligibility for a license, registration, examination, credential, employment position, contract, business permit, or other third-party approval.

25. No Employment Guarantee

SecureServe Academy does not guarantee employment, job placement, interviews, promotions, advancement, salary increases, or acceptance by any employer.

26. No Earnings or Business-Success Guarantee

SecureServe Academy does not guarantee income, revenue, clients, contracts, profitability, business success, return on investment, financial independence, or any particular economic result.

Business and career outcomes depend on numerous factors outside SecureServe Academy’s control, including individual effort, experience, location, market conditions, competition, licensing requirements, pricing, business practices, economic conditions, employer decisions, and other circumstances.

27. Educational Purposes Only

SecureServe Academy provides educational and informational content. Unless expressly stated otherwise, course materials are intended for education and professional development and are not individualized professional advice.

28. No Legal Advice

Legal, court, document-preparation, compliance, or regulatory content is educational only and does not create an attorney-client relationship or constitute legal advice.

Learners should consult a qualified attorney when legal advice is required.

29. No Medical Advice

Healthcare-related educational content does not constitute diagnosis, treatment, clinical advice, or individualized medical advice.

30. No Financial, Tax, or Investment Advice

Financial, bookkeeping, tax, business, credit, insurance, or investment-related training is educational in nature and does not constitute individualized financial, accounting, tax, investment, insurance, or fiduciary advice.

31. Professional Judgment

Course information should not be used as a substitute for professional judgment, independent verification, legal requirements, employer policies, manufacturer instructions, governmental guidance, or current professional standards when those sources apply.

32. Intellectual Property Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, SecureServe Academy or its licensors own or control the intellectual-property rights in SecureServe Academy courses, lesson text, videos, audio, graphics, assessments, PDFs, templates, worksheets, workbooks, checklists, downloads, website content, branding, and other proprietary materials.

Purchasing a course grants access rights as described in these Terms but does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

33. Limited Learner License

Subject to these Terms, SecureServe Academy grants enrolled learners a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use purchased course materials for their own lawful educational and professional-development purposes.

34. Prohibited Uses of Course Materials

Unless SecureServe Academy provides express written authorization, you may not:

  • Resell course access;
  • Share learner login credentials;
  • Redistribute course videos or PDFs;
  • Upload course materials to file-sharing or public websites;
  • Record, reproduce, or republish protected course content except as expressly permitted;
  • Remove or obscure copyright notices or watermarks;
  • Create unauthorized derivative courses from substantial portions of SecureServe Academy materials;
  • Sell or license SecureServe Academy templates or resources as your own;
  • Use the Services to train competing commercial products through unauthorized copying; or
  • Otherwise exploit course materials beyond the license granted to you.

35. Downloads and Printing

Where SecureServe Academy permits downloading or printing of course materials, that permission is for the enrolled learner’s authorized use and does not grant redistribution, resale, public posting, or sublicensing rights.

36. Watermarks

Course materials may contain visible or invisible watermarks, account identifiers, learner email addresses, school branding, or similar technological protections designed to discourage unauthorized redistribution.

Attempting to remove, obscure, defeat, or manipulate content-protection measures may violate these Terms and applicable law.

37. Trademarks

SecureServe Academy names, logos, designs, slogans, course names, and related brand identifiers may constitute trademarks or proprietary brand assets.

No right to use SecureServe Academy branding for commercial, endorsement, certification, affiliation, or promotional purposes is granted merely because a person enrolls in or completes a course.

38. Copyright Complaints

SecureServe Academy respects intellectual-property rights. A person who believes content available through the Services infringes a copyright may contact SecureServe Academy with sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work, allegedly infringing material, location of the material, contact information, a statement regarding good-faith belief, and other information required by applicable copyright law.

Copyright notices may be sent to: admin@secureserveacademy.com.

39. User-Generated Content

If SecureServe Academy enables community posts, comments, assignments, profile content, discussions, reviews, or other user submissions, you remain responsible for content you submit.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit such content and that doing so does not unlawfully violate another person’s rights.

40. License to Submitted Content

To the extent reasonably necessary to host, display, store, evaluate, moderate, or provide the Services, you grant SecureServe Academy and its service providers a non-exclusive license to process content you submit through the platform.

This provision does not transfer ownership of your original content to SecureServe Academy.

41. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Services to:

  • Violate applicable law;
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse others;
  • Commit fraud or impersonate another person;
  • Upload malicious code;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
  • Interfere with platform security;
  • Scrape or harvest information through unauthorized automated means;
  • Circumvent technical restrictions;
  • Use another person’s credentials without authorization;
  • Distribute unlawful or infringing content;
  • Send spam or unauthorized promotional communications; or
  • Use the Services in a manner that materially disrupts other users or SecureServe Academy operations.

42. Community Standards

If community features are enabled, participants must communicate professionally and respectfully. SecureServe Academy may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable community rules.

43. Third-Party Websites and Services

Courses or website pages may contain links to third-party websites, resources, software, government agencies, tools, videos, vendors, or other services.

SecureServe Academy does not control independent third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, accuracy, terms, privacy practices, pricing, or performance.

44. External Requirements and Resources

SecureServe Academy may provide links or references to government agencies, statutes, regulations, professional organizations, forms, filing systems, licensing resources, or other external materials for educational convenience.

Learners remain responsible for confirming current requirements through authoritative sources.

45. Technology Requirements

Learners are responsible for maintaining suitable internet access, compatible devices, current browser technology, supported software, and other equipment reasonably necessary to access online training.

46. Maintenance and Service Interruptions

The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, provider outages, internet disruptions, cybersecurity incidents, technical failures, or circumstances beyond SecureServe Academy’s reasonable control.

SecureServe Academy does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

47. Accessibility

SecureServe Academy seeks to provide an accessible learning experience. Learners experiencing an accessibility barrier may contact us so the issue can be reviewed and reasonable assistance considered where appropriate.

48. Privacy

SecureServe Academy’s collection and use of personal information is addressed in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

49. Electronic Communications

By using the Services, you consent to receive transactional, administrative, and legally required communications electronically where permitted by law.

Promotional communications remain subject to applicable marketing preferences and opt-out rights.

50. Suspension of Access

SecureServe Academy may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, security threats, unauthorized sharing, intellectual-property violations, payment issues, academic-integrity violations, abusive conduct, or other material breaches of these Terms.

51. Termination

SecureServe Academy may terminate an account or access to Services for material or repeated violations of these Terms, fraudulent conduct, unlawful activity, serious security threats, or other grounds permitted by applicable law.

Where reasonable and appropriate, SecureServe Academy may provide notice or an opportunity to address a violation before permanent termination.

52. Effect of Termination

Termination or expiration of access may result in loss of access to course materials, learner features, saved progress, downloads, community features, or other Services.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, payment, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability, and dispute-related provisions, will survive to the extent legally enforceable.

53. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

SecureServe Academy does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of every security risk, or suitable for every learner’s particular career, business, licensing, regulatory, financial, or professional objective.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty disclaimers, so this section applies only to the extent permitted by law.

54. Accuracy and Currency of Information

SecureServe Academy seeks to provide accurate educational content, but laws, regulations, forms, technology, industry practices, professional standards, fees, filing procedures, and licensing requirements can change.

Learners should verify time-sensitive or jurisdiction-specific information through current authoritative sources before relying on it for professional or regulated activity.

55. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SecureServe Academy and its owners, officers, personnel, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of the Services, including lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, loss of business, or similar damages, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Any limitation of direct liability will apply only to the extent legally enforceable and will not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

56. Consumer Rights Preserved

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, disclaim, or limit a consumer right or legal remedy that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive, disclaim, or limit.

57. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, damages, liabilities, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of another party’s rights, misuse of SecureServe Academy materials, or material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify SecureServe Academy for claims resulting from SecureServe Academy’s own unlawful conduct where such an obligation would be prohibited by law.

58. Force Majeure

SecureServe Academy will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disruptions, utility failures, internet or telecommunications outages, third-party platform failures, governmental actions, cybersecurity events, epidemics, pandemics, or similar circumstances, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

59. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises concerning the Services, the parties are encouraged to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting SecureServe Academy and providing sufficient information to understand the issue.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue remedies available under applicable law.

60. No Mandatory Arbitration Provision at This Time

These Terms do not currently require mandatory binding arbitration or waive participation in class proceedings.

SecureServe Academy may revise its dispute-resolution provisions prospectively in a future version of these Terms, subject to applicable notice, consent, and legal requirements.

61. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by applicable United States federal law and other law determined by applicable conflict-of-laws, consumer-protection, contractual, jurisdictional, and statutory principles.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of mandatory protections provided by the law of a jurisdiction that applies regardless of contractual choice.

62. Venue and Jurisdiction

Any judicial proceeding will be brought in a court having lawful subject-matter and personal jurisdiction under applicable law.

SecureServe Academy may revise this section when its final operating legal entity and principal business location are formally established.

63. Notices

SecureServe Academy may provide notices through email, learner-account notifications, the website, or other electronic methods reasonably associated with the Services.

64. Changes to These Terms

SecureServe Academy may update these Terms to reflect changes in Services, business practices, technology, law, course offerings, payment methods, or other circumstances.

The “Last Updated” date identifies the most recent revision. Material changes may be communicated through the website, learner account, email, or another appropriate method when required.

Changes will apply prospectively as required by law and will not retroactively remove vested consumer rights.

65. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with applicable purchase terms, course-specific requirements, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and other incorporated policies, constitute the agreement governing use of the applicable Services, except where a separate written agreement expressly controls.

66. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the affected provision will be interpreted or limited as necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted.

67. No Waiver

A failure by SecureServe Academy to enforce a provision on one occasion does not necessarily waive the right to enforce that provision or another provision later.

68. Assignment

Learners may not transfer their personal course access or learner account without written authorization from SecureServe Academy.

SecureServe Academy may assign rights or obligations associated with the Services in connection with a lawful business transfer, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
